Post Possible movement.
I'll make a short story even shorter. Spindash.net may be closing soon, so if it does, we'll have to find somewhere else to move. Thankfully, my lovely assistant Jean, had something prepared for just such an occasion. She probably has a link to it on hand, but I don't.

Dunno if it's gonna happen or not, but in case it does, just giving you guys a heads-up.

Also, if you haven't made an account yet... When you do, please IM/PM me the name you're going to use so I can approve it. I'm trying to prevent bots (yes, there have been some that have tried to get in already).

Once you do, please move your character and character-related card threads over there. I'd really appreciate it if everyone took the time to update them as well. In the case of character sheets, it's more about moving things around so they match our new format, not necessarily rewriting the entire sheet. For CACs, it'd be best to simply copy approved cards over as the main post, then reply to the post with any unapproved cards... Just to keep things trim and such, you know?

Yeeeah, sorry to drag an old news thread back up to the top, but I just noticed this. You know, you guys... don't really need to manually move things if you do decide to relocate, right? I can supply full backups of the MySQL database, which can then either be inserted into a new phpBB3 forum at a new location, or (with only a modest amount of interwebbery mojo) converted with relative ease to any other popular forum. That way, you can have all of your old logs and conversations, too.

Regardless, this domain should be staying. As said, though, if you decide to move anyway, it's just as easy as sliding a database your way.

Ah, well, it's kind of already been done. It's a project I started a while back as a Christmas present and kept up with just in case anything should happen... But as a person who says there can never be enough backups, it'd be nice to have that, too (especially for people that just can't get around to moving their stuff in time/whatnot).
